त्वमेव प्रत्यक्षम् ब्रह्म वदिष्यामि ऋतम् वदिष्यामि सत्यम् वदिष्यामिYou alone are the manifest Brahman, I shall speak the divine truth, I shall speak the absolute reality

II · Mohanam

பட்டம் பறந்து விண்மேவAs kites soar up to reach the sky,

கட்டிய வண்ணக் கொடி ஆடAnd colorful banners dance on high,

நெட்டை வயல் தலையாட்ட, இசைWhile tall paddy fields sway and bend,

மெட்டாய் மிதந்துன் வாசல் வந்தேன்..Floating like a melodic tune, to your doorstep I ascend...

கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாமல்Invisible to mortal eyes,

கைக்குள் அடங்காமல்Unbound by hands, beyond size,

பின்னின்று ரசிக்கிறேன்From behind, I marvel and embrace,

பிரியாது இணைக்கிறேன்Unbroken, binding all in grace.

III · Vachaspati

இசைப்பேன் ஒருநாள் - அடியோடுI shall play my music one day—and completely

அசைப்பேன் மறுநாள்Shake the world the next day,

பட்டத்தை கிழிப்பேன், கூரையை சிதைப்பேன்I shall tear the kite, crush the roof away,

தலையாட்டும் நெல்லை தரையோடு சாய்ப்பேன்Raze the nodding paddy crops down to the clay,

கூத்திசை வாசலை கூட்டோடு கொள்வேன்And sweep away the joyful home with all in its sway.

கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாமல்Invisible to human sight,

கரிசனம் காட்டாமல்Showing no mercy in my might,

பின்னின்று அழிக்கின்றேன்From behind, I destroy and rend,

பிரித்துப் பறக்கின்றேன்Scattering wide as I tear and ascend.

IV · Mohanam ×2

மூச்சு முட்டும் போதுWhen breath begins to suffocate,

நேற்று இல்லை, நாளை இல்லைThere is no yesterday, no future state;

நான் அடங்கும் போதுWhen I subside and come to rest,

பாட்டும் இல்லை ஆட்டம் இல்லைNo song remains, no dance expressed.

உன்னை இயக்கும் அம்சம்The element that animates your soul,

உருவம் சிதைந்து போயின்Should your mortal frame shatter whole,

என்னுள் திரும்புவாய் நீTo me shall you return once more,

எல்லாம் எந்தன் உயிரேFor all is my life force, at its core.

V · Madhyamavati

கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாமல்Invisible to human eye,

கபடம் இல்லாமல்Pure and free from any lie,

பின்னின்று காக்கிறேன்From behind, I shield and preserve,

பிரித்ததை சேர்க்கிறேன்Uniting all with grace I serve.
